Drugstore Pick #3: Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks

Holy Toledo. This is another one of those products that I had a suuuuuuper pre-conceived notion about and I was pleasantly surprised.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks are big fat pencils that are: WATERPROOF, super creamy in consistency and lasts for 24 hours. If one of those doesn't catch your attention, then welp...boo you.

I love how these wear. A lot. First, they are SO convienient. Draw some on your lids, smooth out with your fingers or a brush, and voila. Secondly, the consistency: It's so creamy, and glides on super smooth. And with it being a big fat almost-crayon, it's hard to mess up. Lastly, it stayed put ALL day without moving. Annnnnnd for testing purposes, I didn't even use an eyeshadow base with it.

I picked up the shade "Bad Girl Bronze" which is a smoky metallic brown shade. I liked the color so much, that I packed it ALL over my lid right up into the crease. Using my fingers, I blended out the crease line and even winged the end a little in hopes to see if it would last all day. To get that super smoky look, I took advantage of the thick pencil and used it to line my lower lash-line too. Then, I packed on tons of mascara on top and bottom, and DONE.

I love this pencil and can't wait to buy the darkest shade. It'll make for the perfect charcoal smoky eye. In fact, I'm heading to Target to buy two or three more today. I will always love powder eye shadows and will use them until the end of time. But if you're looking for a quicker, easier way to pull your face together in the morning without spending a lot of time, this is a GREAT addition to your makeup bag. One light shade paired with one dark shade would be perfect for every day.
