New Dolce and Gabbana Perfect Mono Eye shadow for the WIN

Holy eye shadow. I wish I knew exactly how long that I anxiously waited for these babies to launch. When I finally got them in my hands, it was like Christmas morning. Times ten. I can hear you now. “What?? Dolce and Gabbana has a makeup line??!?”

Yes. And it’s BEAUtiful. Rich, bold pigments…creamy luxurious lipsticks…packaging fit for a queen and a long-wear brow liner that you’ll want to slap your mama for. (What? Idk.)

The Perfect Mono is Dolce&Gabbana’s new eye cream shadow. It comes in 14 shades both in a matte and a pearl finish, provides velvety long-lasting color that won’t crease, won’t smudge, and won’t mess up your eye-game. If a long-wear finish that won’t move for up to 12 hours isn’t enough, they are super easy to use. Applied with a brush or your finger, the application process is seamless and you’ll see virtually no fall-out like most powder eyeshadows thanks to the creamy consistency. HELLO!

And P.S….the colors are SO fab. D+G are always inspired by the richness and luxury of all things Italy and the Mediterranean, and the color palette coincides with those perfectly.

What I love about them the most:

  • The fact that they’re long-wear. Pretty self explanatory.

  • the easy the application. I’ve been wearing mine packed all over the lid on top and all the way across my lower lash line. For anyone with watery eyes (yours truly,) they are the easiest way to create a perfect smoky eye that won’t smudge throughout the day. Pencil liners across my lower lash line often end up as something I have to watch and maintain throughout the day. Thanks to the consistency and long-wear quality of the Mono, I don’t have to worry about touch-ups throughout the day.

  • They look great alone, or paired with other shadows.

  • The packaging. The tiny gold jars of mousey, velvety texture are delish.

Bottom line, I love them. So hard. Get to Nordstrom to try one, stat!!

Try it, love it, tag me!
