OBSESSED.

What you need to know right up front:

1. I love the look of lipstick; Dark, light or in-between.

2. I like looking alive.

3. I HATE having to maintain a strong lip-color when I commit to one.

Now that we're clear...you'll understand why these babies SPEAK MY LANGUAGE.

These Revlon Colorburst Balmstains and Matte Balms are UHmazing. Not only do they pack great pigment, but since they're a stain, they last! No seriously. They LAST. I never thought that a big, fat, twist-up crayon from the Drugstore could deposit such a great amount of color on your lips in a super-soft formula. And in multiple formulas no less!! (Matte v. Glossy) No gunk, no strings, no weird lines.

When it comes to Matte v. Glossy, I go matte!! The formula isn't drying whatsoever so even the matte looks pretty and natural without that chalky texture. My only thumbs-down on the Gloss version is that it doesn't last nearly as long. And if we're all about convenience when it comes to our lip color, the less maintenance, the better!!

Tip:

Scared of too much color? These allow you to control how MUCH or how LITTLE color you actually want. Start minimal by applying color to your top lip only. Follow your full top lip-line with a heavy emphasis on "the bow." Once you've got it covered, rub your lips together and your stain is even more....."stainy"... without excessive color.

I have these in my purse at ALL times. And I've purchased them for others too! To say I'm obsessed in little to no time at all, is an gross understatement.
